As National Leader of KPMG Australia’s Turnaround & Restructuring practice, Tim helps organisations, lenders and other stakeholders navigate complex financial and operational challenges. He brings extensive experience across restructuring, turnaround and insolvency situations, combining commercial judgement with a practical focus on preserving value and achieving sustainable outcomes.
Tim advises boards, management teams, financiers and family-owned businesses on business transformation, financial restructuring, capital and funding options, insolvency solutions and the sale of businesses and assets. He works across a broad range of industries, with deep sector experience in agribusiness and wine, and is a regular contributor to industry thought leadership.
His work includes leading complex administrations, restructurings, and business sales, including overseeing trading operations for an extended period. He has also led the administrations of ASX-listed agribusinesses. Tim has extensive experience advising businesses facing significant trading losses, cash flow pressures and complex debt positions, including developing and implementing strategies to improve performance, secure stakeholder support and navigate changes in ownership.
