On September 18, 2026, International Language Academy of Canada Inc. ("ILAC") filed an assignment in bankruptcy pursuant to section 49 of the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act, R.S.C. 1985, c. B-3, as amended (the "BIA"). KPMG Inc. was appointed as the trustee-in-bankruptcy (the "Trustee") of the estate of the bankrupt by the official receiver, subject to affirmation by the creditors of the Trustee's appointment or substitution of another trustee by the creditors.
On September 22, 2026, ILAC International College Ltd. ("ILAC Intl College") and ILAC International College (BC) Ltd. ("ILAC Intl College (BC)") filed an assignment in bankruptcy pursuant to section 49 of the BIA, and KPMG Inc. was appointed as Trustee of the estate by the official receiver, subject to affirmation by the creditors of the Trustee's appointment or substitution of another trustee by the creditors.
On September 23, 2026, Tamwood Careers Ltd. ("Tamwood Careers") filed an assignment in bankruptcy pursuant to section 49 of the BIA, and KPMG Inc. was appointed as Trustee of the estate by the official receiver, subject to affirmation by the creditors of the Trustee's appointment or substitution of another trustee by the creditors.
On September 25, 2026, Canadian Edge International Corp ("Canadian Edge") filed an assignment in bankruptcy pursuant to section 49 of the BIA, and KPMG Inc. was appointed as Trustee of the estate by the official receiver, subject to affirmation by the creditors of the Trustee's appointment or substitution of another trustee by the creditors.
On October 1, 2026, Tamwood International College Ltd. ("Tamwood Intl College") filed an assignment in bankruptcy pursuant to section 49 of the BIA, and KPMG Inc. was appointed as Trustee of the estate by the official receiver, subject to affirmation by the creditors of the Trustee's appointment or substitution of another trustee by the creditors.
