      Gary Wingrove is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of KPMG International, where he leads the global organization and works closely with member firms across 138 countries and territories to help clients navigate an increasingly complex and rapidly changing world.

      Under his leadership, the firm is focused on executing its global strategy, Connected 2030. The strategy is designed to help KPMG bring together the power of its global organization, deep sector expertise, leading technology and multidisciplinary capabilities to deliver greater value for clients in a rapidly changing world, while continuing to strengthen trust, quality and consistency across the network.

      Before becoming Chairman and CEO, Gary served as Chief Operating Officer of KPMG International from 2022-2026, overseeing global operations and helping drive execution of the firm's strategy. In that role, he played a central role in advancing KPMG's technology and AI agenda, expanding its global delivery network and coordinating investments that strengthened the organization's long-term growth, connectivity and competitiveness. Prior to this, Gary served as CEO of KPMG Australia (2013 to 2021), leading the firm through a period of significant growth and transformation, while also serving as a member of KPMG's Asia Pacific Board.

      With more than two decades of leadership experience, Gary brings a deep understanding of both strategy development and execution. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant, a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand and a Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia. Over his career, he has contributed to a range of industry forums and has served on various not-for-profit boards as a Non-Executive Director.
